David Lawrence, one of the stars from the hit NBC-TV series "Heroes," read the script. He likes it and said he'd fly to Nashville to play the part of Mr. Nugatorius. David played the character of Wallace Waverly in my earlier award winning short film, "My Name is Wallace." Is this really happening? |

Bad news. I just got word I lost my hip-hop music sequence and one of my hip-hop MCs. Shit! Well, on to plan B. We need an actor who can rap or a rapper who can act...and we need a track to go under the lyric. AND we needed it yesterday! I'm in the hunt! Stay tuned! |
A C, a bouncy C

We did some quick musical pickups for the Charlie Wu movie this aftertnoon. We were in MTSU Recording Studio C (in Ezell Hall) from 2:30-4:15 p.m. We had three short pieces to capture: a drum solo which we'll use to "cut" the Marching Band sequence, a sax riff to double as Charlie's virtuosity on tenor saxophone, and a snippet of a bad heavy metal guitar playing, to double as an example of Charlie's horrible guitar playing. Came off great -- some technical glitches but all fixable. |

Leslie Ellis, a great singer/performer and co-star in my earlier film, "My Name is Wallace," says she's in! She'll play the part of Eudiamonia. Leslie is awesome. |
