This promises to be a long, challenging day of movie making. I wouldn't trust this assignment to anyone but my PD and Production Manager, Matthew Pessoni! Today, the Siegel High School Marching Band arrives on the set...and the Siegel High Cheerleaders are coming, too! Wrangling so many high school kids brings added stress: 1.) We've got to feed them, 2.) We may not have a second camera person (his shoot in Knoxville ran way late so he may not be in), 3.) We only have them for two hours to set and shoot! I'll take my Pepto and Maalox cocktail on the rocks.
This is also a special big effects day, and a key scene with the Eudaimonia and Charlie characters. In this scene, Charlie finally "sees the light" and begins his new life changing journey -- it's a important, pivotal stuff. After a week of intense work, I hope our team can muster one more day of inspired film making. Good luck to us! --Bob Pondillo |
