When casting THE NEW, TRUE, CHARLIE WU, I was convinced I needed an outstanding singer/actress to play the SISTER CHARLENE part in the film. This is a pivotal role and not just anyone can do it. I looked for several months and was about to give up hope when one day, quite serendipitously, I found Cissy Crutcher. Wow! I was moved deeply by her astounding talent and sweet humanity. This is a warm, wonderful woman with an amazing gift. She positively mesmerizes in our movie, and to give you a taste of her incredible voice I invite you to watch and enjoy her videos below. I was just delighted to hear that our choice for Charlie Wu's "dream" dance team, The Loyalty Dance Team from Murfreesboro, TN, will be featured in a national dance off competition on BET, 5 p.m., on March 25.
